Model 300 Magnetic Stirrer

The Model 300 Magnetic Stirrer is a motorless stirrer operated by generating a rotating electromagnetic field in the stirring heads. The liquid is mixed by immersing a magnetised stirring bar in it, this is rotated by the magnetic field produced in the heads.

Charge Analyser II

The Rank Brothers Charge Analyser II is a completely automatic polyelectrolytic titrator. The system is microprocessor controlled giving the operator a user friendly interface. Polyelectrolytic titration enables determination of ionic charges of polymers in solution and surface charges of colloids.

Photometer Cell

The Photometer Cell has been designed to enhance the Charge Analyser II by offering an alternative method of performing the polyelectrolytic titration. The CAII originally used a streaming current cell to detect the isoelectric point of the titration, however it is now possible to carry out a photometric titration using Toluidine blue indicator to detect the end point.

Electrochemical Processor

The Rank Brothers Electrochemical Processor is comprised of a Potentiostat and a Galvanostat, which can be used for controlled potential and controlled current microelectrode techniques. The two circuits are completely separate enabling them to be used simultaneously.

CNC Transfer

CNC Transfer is easy to use software for Windows that enables the download of programs from a CNC to a PC using a serial cable. It will display programs in a window on the PC and allow them to be edited. It allows programs to be stored in an organised manner along with full machine setup details. (Requires a PC running Windows 3.1 or above.)
